ESB launches e-bike sharing pilot in Dublin

Irish energy supplier ESB has launched an e-bike pilot project in Dublin called ESB eBikes. The trial will run for ten months and includes 112 bikes with 14 charging stations in some of Dublin’s busiest commuter locations. ESB also won experienced partners.

UFODrive launches Tesla rentals in San Francisco

Europe’s electric car rental company UFODrive landed in San Francisco, making the city the first foray into the United States. Their US launch follows the company’s rapid growth in European cities, including London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Dublin, since its founding in 2018.

Onto raises €148Mn to expand EV subscription service

UK electric car subscription service Onto says it has raised 175 million dollars in a new financing round. Alfvén & Didrikson and Pollen Street Capital led the Series B funding round, with the most prominent investor being TotalEnergies. The investment follows Onto’s significant growth in recent months.

Toyota invests in May Mobility e-shuttle start-up

Toyota has just led May Mobility’s B round financing totalling $50M, which also included BMW iVentures. The financing should allow the Michigan-based startup to expand every aspect of the company and its autonomous electric shuttle fleet.
