Kia announces US prices for the 2023 Niro EV
Kia America has announced pricing for the 2023 Niro EV, the second-generation crossover EV. Offered in two trim levels, the 2023 Niro EV starts at $39,450 and is expected to arrive at Kia retailers this month. The 2023 Niro EV will be available across all 50 states.

Hilti continues fleet electrification with 200 Kia e-Niro cars
Hilti GB is continuing the electrification of the UK fleet as it aims for a 50% EV share this year. The tool manufacturer and construction company has replaced more than 200 cars with Kia electric models across the UK and also offers free home charger installations to staff.

Kia to release new Niro in 2022
At the Seoul Mobility Show, Kia presented the new generation of the Niro, which will go on sale next year as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric model. The focus of the presentation was on the completely new design. Kia has not yet revealed whether there will be any changes to the powertrains.

Austrian utility Wien Energie purchases 48 Kia e-Niro
Energy supplier Wien Energie has purchased 48 Kia e-Niro electric cars for its sales staff. This means that a total of around 70 e-cars are now on the road for Wien Energie and thus the majority of the car fleet of around 100 cars.

Kia increases UK supply of e-Niro to meet demand
In the UK, Kia has increased the supply of its e-Niro and Soul EV electric crossovers to meet “intense demand” and shorten waiting times. After the Korean brand offered new cheaper e-Niro options at the end of June, Kia said that July was its best month on record according to UK sales.

Kia launches Niro electric car in the USA
The Kia Niro EV has finally gone on sale in the U.S. The South Korean electric car manufacturer already started selling the Niro in their home country in June of last year. The base price for the Niro EV EX is $39,495 ($31,995 with federal tax credit).

Kia & Hyundai must adjust range of their Europe EVs
Both Kia and Hyundai had to correct the WLTP range of their all-electric cars in Europe following faulty test results of an external testing organisation. The Kia E-Niro and Hyundai Kona Electric thus both “lose” about 30 km each in the new rating.

Europe: Kia confirms e-Niro range as close to 500 km
Kia has received the official WLTP range data for the European version of the all-electric Niro, which will be called e-Niro. The crossover electric car will make its first apearance on the continent at the Paris Motor Show and hit the market shortly after.
