Kuehne+Nagel starts decarbonisation with Renault e-trucks
The French arm of logistics company Kuehne+Nagel has received 23 electric trucks from Renault. Kuehne+Nagel will use the 16-tonne trucks at eight locations in France and says the delivery was just the “first wave” in a bigger electrification effort.

Ferronordic orders 32 electric trucks
Ferronordic, a service and distribution company in the construction equipment and truck sectors, has placed its first order for electric trucks in Germany. The order includes 21 Renault Trucks D Z.E and D Wide Z.E and eleven Volvo FL and Volvo FE Electric, making a total of 32 all-electric trucks.

French logistics service Urby orders 20 Renault electric trucks
Logistics service provider Urby, a subsidiary of French postal operator La Poste and Banque des Territoires, has ordered 20 Renault Trucks D Z.E. electric trucks. The electric trucks, designed for urban distribution, are scheduled to enter service in around 15 French cities from 2022.

Renault offers more battery options for electric trucks
Renault Trucks has announced new battery options for its all-electric D Z.E. (16-tonne) and D Wide Z.E. (26-tonne) truck models. The trucks previously equipped with 50 kWh modules can now be ordered with 66 kWh modules. With the Master Z.E. electric van, the battery remains the same, but the payload is optionally increased.

Renault electric truck serial production picks up steam
Renault Trucks is starting series production of the D Z.E. and D Wide Z.E. electric models at its Blainville-sur-Orne plant in Normandy this month. The plant has been expanded to accommodate the assembly of the electric delivery trucks.

Renault presents complete electric truck range
Renault Trucks unveils two electric trucks to launch in 2019. The Renault Trucks D Z.E. and Renault Trucks D Wide Z.E. cover 16 and 26 tons respectively and complete the electric UV lineup starting with the Master Z.E. at 3.5 tons. The trucks will be made in Normandy, France.
