Hexagon Purus to supply H2 fuel cell trucks to the US

The Norwegian hydrogen storage specialist Hexagon Purus has been contracted by two major truck manufacturers in North America to deliver complete vehicle integration of two hydrogen-powered class 8 trucks. Hexagon Purus will assemble the trucks with zero-emission systems and deliver the complete trucks.

Hyzon and Geesinknorba agree on H2 garbage trucks

Hyzon Motors has become the exclusive vendor for hydrogen fuel cell trucks for the Dutch refuse collection company Geesinknorba. Under the agreement, 300 trucks or more are to be supplied by Hyzon during the three-year contract. The first trucks are destined for Barcelona where Geesinknorba has been contracted to provide zero-emission trucks.

S.Korea builds charging and H2 stations

The government of South Korea is planning a significant expansion of the infrastructure for battery and hydrogen vehicles. By the end of this year there should be over 1,000 charging stations and 43 hydrogen stations by the end of 2022.

Daimler Trucks and Total join forces on H2 infrastructure

SAG develops liquid H2 cryogenic tank for trucks

The Salzburg Aluminium Group (SAG) is developing a cryogenic tank system for liquid hydrogen (LH2) for trucks. Prototyping is to begin in a few months, followed by test phases. Based on the results obtained, SAG wants to produce the LH2 cryo tank in series from 2027.

Airbus forges ahead with zero-emission aviation

Airbus has just unveiled concrete plans for zero-emission aviation with a new generation of the battery-electric CityAirbus.
