Allego is building HPC chargers in Scandinavia
Allego is expanding into Scandinavia, where the company focuses on the installation of high-power charging stations with up to 350 kW charging capacity. Allego’s headquarters in Scandinavia will be in Stockholm. A total of 55 locations are to be set up in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Mega-E opens first high power charging site in Europe
The first liquid-cooled chargers delivering up to 350 kW have gone live today in the Dutch town of Eindhoven. The high power charging site is part of the European Mega -E project. The initiative led by Allego aims for 322 ultra-fast chargers in at least ten metropolitan areas in Europe.
French Meridiam taking over Dutch Allego
French investment firm Meridiam that specialises in infrastructure has bought Dutch Allego from Alliander. The latter had been wanting to sell its EV charging arm for some time. The acquisition is to propel Allego further across Europe’s growing charging landscape.
Allego project Mega-E secures €29M in EU funding
The Mega-E project for EV charging infrastructure will receive 29M euros in funding through the EU. Initially set up together with Fortnum, Allego is now alone in leading the project that wants to install 322 ultra-fast charging stations and 27 e-charging hubs in Europe.

Allego and Fortum Charge & Drive join forces to set up a pan-European high-power charging (HPC) network called MEGA-E and thus to erect 322 ultra-fast charging stations and 27 so-called e-charging hubs throughout Europe.
