Quantron presents H2 fuel cell truck with 1,500 km-range
At the IAA trade show, Quantron presented the QHM FCEV Heavy Truck created with Ballard Power Systems, a tractor unit for heavy long-distance transport with a range of up to 1,500 kilometres. Quantron also displayed other fuel cell and battery commercial vehicles on its stand at the trade show.
Neuman & Esser and Ballard invest in Quantron
Quantron has successfully closed an A-financing round of up to 50 million euros after a seed round in March 2021. Investors include German machinery and equipment manufacturer Neuman & Esser and Canadian fuel cell technology group Ballard Power Systems.
Quantron introduces ‘Cizaris’ electric bus
Quantron has unveiled its first all-electric city bus, the Cizaris 12 EV. The vehicle is also the first in the company’s new design. Designed for urban transport, the Cizaris is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries from CATL and a central synchronous motor from Dana.
Quantron wants to establish stronger brand identity
Quantron AG has announced that in future it will manufacture commercial vehicles in-house. In the first step, the specialist for trucks and buses with battery-electric and fuel cell drives wants to develop a characteristic product and brand identity.
Quantron presents Q-Light FCEV transporter
Quantron has presented a fuel cell transporter. The transporter, called Q-Light FCEV, is a hydrogen-powered vehicle in the 3.5 to 4.2 tonne range, according to Quantron, and is offered in cooperation with FC experts AE Driven Solutions.
Quantron to launch BEV bus & cooperation with Ballard
Ballard Power Systems and Quantron AG become strategic partners in the development of fuel-cell powered trucks. Independently of this, Quantron announces that it will launch a twelve-metre-long low-floor bus as a BEV – and a little later also as an FCEV – from the end of the year.
Quantron working on fuel cell transporter
The commercial vehicle conversion company Quantron has announced a hydrogen transporter based on the Iveco Daily. The hydrogen drives from AE Driven Solutions (AEDS) are to be offered initially as a panel van and flatbed.
