Mer acquires UK charging specialist Elmtronics

The European charging infrastructure brand Mer from the Norwegian renewable energy group Statkraft will take over the British charging specialist Elmtronics. The takeover is still subject to approval by the relevant authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of January 2022.

UK: Allstar launch EV charging payment card for fleets

Allstar Business Solutions, a provider of fuel cards in the UK, has agreed on a new partnership with Gronn Kontakt, an EV charging company owned by Statkraft. The deal means that Allstar has added a further 110 charge points to the network and coincides with the launch of a new EV charge payment card.

Statkraft buys German EV charging provider E-Wald

The Norwegian utility Stakraft has acquired the electric vehicle charging company E-Wald GmbH. The acquisition is to strengthens Statkraft’s position in the German and European charging market and follows similar deals made earlier this year.
