EV100 now counts 50 members & UK as Ambassador
With pharma giant AstraZeneca another large fleet operator is now committing itself to electrify its entire fleet by 2030 as part of the Climate Group’s EV100 initiative. Plus, the UK Government will be the first G7 nation to join the pledge as “Ambassador”.
British corporations plan switch to electric fleets
The major British energy companies Centrica and SSE have joined the Climate Group’s EV100 initiative together with facility service provider Mitie. This commits them to electrifying all their vehicle fleets by 2030. This involves a total of around 21,000 vehicles.
New e-mobility initiative finds warm welcome
The Zero Emission Vehicle Challenge, which was launched in July by the international Climate Group network and C40 cities has made some major steps: 26 additional states, cities, regions and companies have agreed to join the e-mobility effort.
